<div class="col-sm-12"> <p>The OECD Database on Financial Management and Reporting contains the results of the 2022 OECD Survey on Financial Management and Reporting. The database provides practitioners, academics and civil society with an overview of financial management and reporting practices across OECD countries, including information on Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) design and digital financial reporting. </p> <h4>About this questionnaire</h4> <p>The content of the 2022 database was collected using an online <a href="https://webfs.oecd.org/governmentataglance/Budgeting/2022%20OECD%20Survey%20on%20Financial%20Management%20and%20Reporting.pdf" target="_blank">questionnaire</a> and a <a href="https://webfs.oecd.org/governmentataglance/Budgeting/2022%20OECD%20Survey%20on%20Financial%20Management%20and%20Reporting_Glossary.pdf" target="_blank">glossary</a> was also provided. </p> <p>The 2022 dataset provides information on the following topics:</p> <p><ul> <li>Section 1 - Financial management and reporting practices (questions 1 to 9)</li> <li>Section 2 - Financial Management Information System(s) (FMIS) design (questions 10 to 27)</li> <li>Section 3 - Digital financial reporting initiatives (questions 28 to 43)</li> </ul></p> <p>The 2022 database comprises responses from 34 OECD countries¹ and the data refers only to central/federal government practices as of 30 September 2022. Respondents were predominantly officials within accounting and finance departments. The content of the database draws heavily upon self-reporting from governments representing the country’s own assessment of current practices and procedures.</p> <p>Preliminary results were presented at the <a href="https://www.oecd.org/gov/budgeting/Agenda-FMR-WP-meeting-2023.pdf" target="_blank">23rd Annual Meeting of the Working Party on Financial Management and Reporting in March 2023</a>. </p>
