<div class="col-sm-12"> <p>The OECD Database on Gender Budgeting contains the results of the 2022 OECD Survey on Gender Budgeting. The database provides budget practitioners, academics and civil society with an overview of gender budgeting practices from across OECD countries. </p> <h4>About this questionnaire</h4> <p>The content of the 2022 database was collected using an online <a href="https://webfs.oecd.org/governmentataglance/Budgeting/2022%20OECD%20Survey%20on%20Gender%20Budgeting.pdf" target="_blank">questionnaire</a> and a <a href="https://webfs.oecd.org/governmentataglance/Budgeting/2022%20OECD%20Survey%20on%20Gender%20Budgeting_Glossary.pdf" target="_blank">glossary</a> was also provided. </p> <p>The 2022 dataset provides information on the following topics:</p> <p><ul> <li>PART I - Context (questions 1 to 4)</li> <li>PART II - Institutional framework (questions 5 to 8)</li> <li>PART III - Approaches and tools (questions 9 to 12)</li> <li>PART III - Accountability and transparency (questions 13 to 17)</li> <li>PART III - Enabling environment (questions 18 to 20)</li> <li>PART IV - Impact (questions 21 to 25)</li> </ul></p> <p>A composite indicator was developed, encompassing the five parts of the survey (available <a href="https://data-explorer.oecd.org/vis?lc=en&df[ds]=Design&df[id]=DSD_GOV%40DF_GOV_BP_2023&df[ag]=OECD.GOV.GIP&df[vs]=1.0&av=true&pd=%2C&dq=A......&ly[rw]=MEASURE&ly[cl]=REF_AREA&to[TIME_PERIOD]=false&lo=5&lom=LASTNPERIODS" target="_blank">here</a>). </p> <p>The 2022 database comprises responses from all 38 OECD countries and the data refers only to central/federal government practices as of 1 March 2022. Respondents were predominantly budget officials within central budget authorities. The content of the database draws heavily upon self-reporting from governments representing the country’s own assessment of current practices and procedures. </p> <p>The report <a href="https://doi.org/10.1787/647d546b-en" target="_blank">Gender Budgeting in OECD Countries 2023</a> provides an overview of the 2022 survey results and also presents the 2022 OECD Gender Budgeting Index methodology. </p> </div>
