Hip and Knee Patient-Reported Outcome Measures
Hip and Knee Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) (HKP) is a subgroup of indicators within the HCQO database and provide patient-reported data on the perceived pain, physical functioning and quality of life of people who underwent hip or knee replacement surgery. The database includes condition-specific indicators measuring pain and function and generic indicators measuring quality of life reported before and after surgery. The Oxford Hip and Knee Score (OHS/OKS) and the EuroQol 5 Dimensional tool (EQ 5D) are used for data collection.
