Trade in Value Added (TiVA) 2025 edition: Principal Indicators, shares
<font color="#00008B"><strong>Trade in Value Added (TiVA)</strong></font> is a collection of measures that provide insights into global production networks and supply chains beyond conventional trade statistics. TiVA tracks the origins of value added in exports, imports and final demand. The present edition provides indicators for <strong>80 economies</strong> (as well as regional aggregates), <strong>50 economic activities</strong> based on <strong>ISIC Rev. 4</strong> (as well as industry groups) and covers the time-period <strong>1995-2022</strong>. <br/><br/>TiVA indicators are derived from <strong>OECD's Inter-Country Input-Output (ICIO)</strong> tables (see <a href="https://www.oecd.org/en/data/datasets/inter-country-input-output-tables.html">ICIO web page</a>) which are constructed by transforming (or harmonizing) national Supply and Use tables (SUTs) and Input-Output tables (IOTs). ICIO incorporate bilateral trade statistics from international sources and are balanced under constraints aligned with official National Accounts (SNA08) by economic activity and main aggregates, using various techniques to fill gaps prior to balancing. <br/><br/> • Visit <a href="https://www.oecd.org/en/tiva.html">TiVA web page</a> • Check <a href="https://stats.oecd.org/wbos/fileview2.aspx?IDFile=2ccb4aa3-c265-4477-9630-d29ab8cfdefa">TiVA structure and coverage</a> • Read <a href="https://web-archive.oecd.org/2023-11-24/644737-TiVA_2023_Indicators_Guide.pdf">TiVA indicators guide</a> • Contact <a href="mailto:icio-tiva.contact@oecd.org">icio-tiva.contact@oecd.org</a><br/><br/><font color="#00008B"><strong>Related dataset: <a href="https://data-explorer.oecd.org/vis?locale=en&dataflow[datasourceId]=DisseminateFinal&dataflow[agencyId]=OECD.STI.PIE&dataflow[dataflowId]=DSD_TIVA_MAINLV@DF_MAINLV&dataflow[version]=1.1&hasDataAvailability=true">Trade in Value Added (TiVA) 2025 ed.: Principal Indicators, levels</a></strong></font>.
