Persons in part-time employment by work experience while studying and reason (2024)

<p>The indicator measures the distribution of part-time employed people aged 20-34 with at least upper secondary education, broken down by reason of part-time employment, work experience during studies, sex and educational attainment level.</p><p>The distinction between full-time and part-time work is generally based on a spontaneous response by the respondent.</p><p>Work experience during studies refers to work experiences at a workplace in a market or non-market unit (i.e. in a company, government institution or non-profit organisation) that were part of the curriculum of the formal programme that led to the highest level of education successfully completed.</p><p>The indicator is based on the EU Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS).</p>
