Unemployment rate by work experience while studying and country of birth (2024)
<p>The indicator measures unemployment rate of people aged 20-34 with at least upper secondary education, broken down by work experience during studies, sex, educational attainment level and country of birth. </p><p>Unemployment rate is the number of unemployed persons as a percentage of the labour force (sum of employed and unemployed people).</p><p>Work experience during studies refers to work experiences at a workplace in a market or non-market unit (i.e. in a company, government institution or non-profit organisation) that were part of the curriculum of the formal programme that led to the highest level of education successfully completed.</p><p>The indicator is based on the EU Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS).</p>
