Short-term economic statistics revisions

Access monthly data snapshots of published short term economic statistics and observe the revisions made to key economic variables.<p />Having access to originally published data enables analysts to test the likely effectiveness of econometric models in simulated real-time, in particular models used for forecasting. It also provides the opportunity to perform revisions analysis - to study the magnitude and direction of subsequent revisions to published statistics. Revisions to time series published in subsequent editions of the Main Economic Indicators publication may be due to practices employed both by the national statistical institutes providing the data and the OECD.
