This dataset shows the direct investments of insurers in a detailed list of financial instruments and their indirect investments through collective investment schemes. Users can find the asset allocation broken down by ownership of insurance companies (domestic undertakings, foreign controlled undertakings and branches and agencies), insurance type (life, non-life, composite), insurer type (direct insurer, reinsurer) and destination of investments (domestic or foreign).
