Waiting times

This dataset reports data on waiting times for selected elective surgeries (by ICD-9-CM).

<p />Waiting times from specialist assessment to treatment includes the time elapsed for patients on the non-emergency (elective) surgery waiting list from the date they were added to the waiting list for the procedure (following specialist assessment) to the date they were admitted for treatment.

<p />Waiting times of patients on the list includes the time elapsed for patients on the non-emergency (elective) surgery waiting list from the date they were added to the waiting list for the procedure (following specialist assessment) to a designated census date.
