Bilateral Trade in goods by end-use

The <font color="#00008B"><strong><a href="https://www.oecd.org/en/data/datasets/bilateral-trade-in-goods-by-industry-and-end-use-category.html">Bilateral Trade in goods by end-use (BTiGE)</a></strong></font> database highlights international flows of intermediate and final goods. BTiGE (previously BTDIxE) is derived from the United Nations (UN) Comtrade+ annual trade data, which is based on detailed Harmonised System (HS) product classifications. This database was designed to include balanced trade flows and to be used, with national Supply and Use Tables (SUTs) or Input-Output Tables (IOTs), as an input for the OECD's Inter-Country Input-Output (ICIO) model, from which the OECD Trade in Value Added (TiVA) indicators are derived. <br/><br/>BTiGE consists in imports and exports values (re-imports and re-exports when available) for 190+ reporters and partners, detailed by CPA (2.1) activities and divided into end-use categories, of which intermediate inputs, capital and consumption goods.<br/><font color="#00008B"><strong>Please cite the conversion key as “OECD (2025), Bilateral Trade in Goods by End-Use (BTiGE): HS to end-use conversion key”.</strong></font><br/><br/>Contact: <a href="mailto:stan.contact@oecd.org">stan.contact@oecd.org</a>
