Persons by level of the formal education or training abandoned and reason (2024)

<p>The indicator measures the main reason for abandoning the formal education or training activity. The denominator comprises people aged 15-34 who have abandoned formal education or training at least once.&nbsp;</p><p>Formal education or training abandoned means that a person has started a formal education programme but has not completed it successfully.</p><p>The information is broken down by sex, age and level of formal education or training abandoned.&nbsp;</p><p>The indicator is based on the EU Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS) 8-yearly variables on "Young people on the labour market" surveyed in 2024.</p>
