Proportion of population achieving at least a fixed level of proficiency in functional numeracy skills, both sexes (%)
The percentage of youth and adults (15 years and above) who have achieved or exceeded a given level of proficiency in numeracy. This indicator is collected via skills' assessment surveys of the adult population (e.g. the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC), the Skills Towards Employment and Productivity (STEP) Measurement programme, the Literacy Assessment Measurement Programme (LAMP) and national adult literacy and numeracy surveys.
