Women and girls who use menstrual materials, urban (% of women and girls ages 15-49 living in urban areas who had a menstrual period within the last year)

The percentage of the women and girls (ages 15-49 who had a menstrual period with the last year) who used menstrual materials such as sanitary pads, tampons, menstrual cups, cloth, or cotton wool, to capture and contain menstrual blood during their last menstrual period. Those who used paper, underwear alone, or nothing are not classified as using menstrual materials.
