WBL: Legal Framework, Pension, The law mandates equal survivor benefits for spouses

The indicator assesses whether the law specifies the following: (1) equal eligibility criteria for widows and widowers to access survivor pension benefits; (2) minimum age at which spouses can receive survivor benefits; (3) benefit payments are paid in installments for widows and widowers. Partial score of 0.33 is assigned to each of the three underlying components realized. The total indicator score is the sum of component scores, capped at 1.
