WBL: Legal Framework, Childcare, The law establishes the provision of center-based childcare services

The indicator assesses whether the law establishes the provision of childcare services for children aged 0–2 years (including 2 years and 11 months) in center-based settings (nurseries, day care centers, creches, or formal preschools) by any of the following: (1) the government, (2) private centers, or (3) employers without conditions on the presence of female employees. Score = 1 if the condition is met; otherwise, score = 0.
