A threatened species is likely to become endangered within the foreseeable future, throughout all or a significant portion of its range. Threatened species are species classified by the IUCN as Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN) and Vulnerable (VU).

Birds are listed for countries included within their breeding or wintering ranges.
