SNG-WOFI: Number of subnational governments and municipality size

This dataset includes data on the size of municipalities and the number of subnational governments in each country, distinguishing between municipal, intermediate and regional governments (when relevant).<br/><br/>The OECD/UCLG World Observatory on Subnational Government Finance and Investment (SNG-WOFI) initiative is the world's leading source of internationally comparable data and analysis on multi-level governance and subnational finance frameworks.
