Exposure to air pollution - Regions

<p align="justify">This dataset provides measures of PM2.5, PM10 (particulate matter), ozone and nitrogen dioxide air pollution in large (TL2) and small (TL3) regions. Indicators provide an estimate of the population-weighted average pollutant concentration and the share of the population living in areas where pollutant concentrations exceed World Health Organization guidelines (5 μg/m³ for PM2.5, 15 μg/m³ for PM10, 60 μg/m³ for ozone, and 10 μg/m³ for nitrogen dioxide).</p> <h3>Data sources and methodology</h3> <p align="justify">PM2.5 air pollution indicators are computed using PlumLabs ( “Plume Labs by AccuWeather: Accurate Historical, Live, and Forecast Air Quality Data.” Plume Labs by AccuWeather: Accurate Historical, Live, and Forecast Air Quality Data, plumelabs.com/en/forecast-api/) gridded data. The available 0.1° by 0.1° resolution grids provide the estimated mean concentration of PM2.5, PM10, ozone and nitrogen dioxide.</p> <p><strong>Definition of regions</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Regions are subnational units below national boundaries. OECD countries have two regional levels: large regions (territorial level 2 or TL2) and small regions (territorial level 3 or TL3).
