Dataset
The Financial Accounts show net acquisition of financial assets, net incurrence of financial liabilities and net financial transactions during the period. The breakdown of these transactions by counterpart sector enriches this information by providing insight into the relationships between institutional sectors within an economy as well as between the domestic economy and the rest of the world. <br> <br> This default view of this table shows the relationship between the total economy and the rest of the world for one country (or area) at a time, for those countries for which data is available. You can use the ‘Institutional sector’ and ‘Counterpart institutional sector’ filters to show relationships between specific sectors such as Non-financial Corporations, Financial Corporations, General Government and Households and non-profit institutions service households (NPISH). For each relationship, the table presents breakdowns by financial instrument.
