Methods used to protect intellectual property

<p>This dataset presents the extent to which various methods are used by business enterprises to protect intellectual property. Data is available by enterprise size and broader classes of economic activities (manufacturing, services and other sectors).</p><p>The data is collected through the biennial OECD data collection on innovation, and this dataset contains data starting from the reference year 2018. Data follows the guidelines of the <a href="https://doi.org/10.1787/9789264304604-en">Oslo Manual</a>.</p><p>For advanced users, all indicators of the OECD Business Innovation Indicators, metadata and national survey questionnaires can be accessed and downloaded from <a href="https://data-explorer.oecd.org/vis?lc=en&df[ds]=DisseminateFinalDMZ&df[ag]=OECD.STI.STP&df[id]=DSD_INNOSTAT@DF_ALL">the OECD Business Innovation Indicators Database (Innostat Database)</a>.
