Gender Equality: Aid (ODA) activities in support of gender equality and women's empowerment

<p>This dataset contains data on bilateral allocable ODA in support of gender equality and women's empowerment, using the OECD DAC Gender Equality policy marker, from the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) Creditor Reporting System (CRS). These data are available for commitments since 2002 and disbursements since 2009.</p><p>In their reporting to the CRS, providers are requested to indicate for each activity whether or not it includes gender equality as one of its policy objectives. An activity can include gender equality as its "principal" objective (score 2) or as a "significant" objective (score 1), or not at all "screened, not targeted" (score 0). An activity may also be "not screened" against the marker (blank or empty field).
