Teachers' statutory salaries relative to workers' earnings

<p>This dataset compares statutory salaries of teachers with earnings of workers. It covers full-time teachers, in public institutions in pre-primary, primary and (lower and upper) secondary general education.</p><p>The default table displays data on statutory salaries of teachers (with the most prevalent qualification after 15 years of experience) relative to earnings of tertiary-educated workers. The selection can be changed to display data by qualification level of teachers (the most prevalent qualification <b>to enter the profession</b> or the most prevalent qualification <b>after 15 years of experience</b>), by experience level (only for the most prevalent qualification to enter the profession) and by comparison group (tertiary-educated workers or similarly educated workers).</p><p>Additional details regarding sources for data and the methodology used and specific notes for countries can be found in the accompanying document <b>Sources, Methodologies and Technical Notes</b>.
