<p> Time spent travelling encompasses the distribution of travel-related activities by sex and mode of transport across three time-use indicators. </p><p> Time spent is defined by mean time spent on travel by all individuals, irrespective of participation. Participation time is defined by mean time spent on travel only among individuals who undertook travel activities. </p><p> Participation rate is defined by the proportion of individuals who spent some time travelling. </p><p> Modes of transport cover distinct categories such as private motorised transport, public transport, cycling, walking and other specified means. </p>
