<p>Length of the motorway and 'E-road' networks, expressed in kilometres. The definition of E-roads is less restrictive than that applying to motorways. Data are from the 'Common Questionnaire for Inland Transport Statistics', a collection shared by Eurostat, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, and the International Transport Forum.&nbsp;The Common Questionnaire is a voluntary data collection, not regulated by a legal act. </p>
