Non-financial corporations debt excluding foreign direct investments, consolidated
<p>The non-financial corporations debt excluding foreign direct investment indicator represents the net amount of liabilities in which the sector non-financial corporations (S.11) have incurred along the year, minus foreign direct investments (FDI). The instruments that are taken into account to compile the non-financial corporations debt are debt securities (F.3) and loans (F.4), from which FDI are excluded. FDI are taken from the quarterly financial accounts collection of the ECB. Data are presented in consolidated terms, i.e. data do not take into account transactions within the same sector and expressed in millions of national currency. Definitions regarding sectors and instruments are based on the ESA 2010. The indicator is used in the calculation of the MIP Scoreboard indicator.</p>
