Young persons (aged 15-24) neither in employment nor in education and training - % of total population in private households in the same age group

Young people who are neither in employment nor in education or training (NEET) provides information about youth people aged 15 to 29 who meet the following two conditions: (a) they are not employed (i.e. unemployed or outside the labour force according to the 'International conference of labour statisticians' definition) and (b) they have not received any education or training in the four weeks preceding the survey. The MIP auxiliary indicator is expressed as a percentage of the total population in the same age group, excluding the respondents who have not answered the question 'participation to education and training'. In the table, the values are also presented as changes over a three-year period (in percentage points). Data come from the quarterly EU Labour Force Survey (EU LFS).
