Income share of the bottom 40 % of the population

<p>The indicator measures the share of total income received by the 40&nbsp;% of the population with lowest income. Data are taken from the EU Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC) and are based on <a href="https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=Glossary:Equivalised_disposable_income" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">equivalised disposable income</a>.</p>
