Population on 1st January by age group, sex, type of projection and NUTS 3 region

<p>This data table shows projected population on 1 January for individual NUTS3 regions of all EU Member States, disaggregated by 5- year age groups and&nbsp;by sex. Figures are based on a cohort‑component approach, in which the base-year population is projected forward by applying age- and sex-specific assumptions on fertility, mortality and migration. Projected population on 1 January is published for 5-year intervals. Regional projections for EUROPOP2025 were produced by the Joint Research Center with support of Eurostat, and are benchmarked to the national projection results of EUROPOP2025.</p>
