Harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) - ECOICOP ver.2 - first released data

<p>The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) measures price changes of various consumer goods and services over time (inflation).&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>The ‘first&nbsp;released’ dataset stores the original HICP data as&nbsp;released&nbsp;on the official publication dates (non-revised). It includes the full set of indices and monthly and annual rates of change for all geographical entities (aggregates and countries). This dataset is compiled according to the European Classification of&nbsp;Individual&nbsp;Consumption According to Purpose (ECOICOP) ver. 2, available in base years&nbsp;2025=100 and 2015=100.</p><p>As a result of a technical error, the “first released data” dataset [prc_hicp_fpd] for January 2026 published on 25 February 2026 was updated on 3 March 2026.</p><p>The “first released data” published on 25 February 2026 are available&nbsp;<a href="https://circabc.europa.eu/ui/group/7b031f10-ac19-4da3-a36f-58708a70133d/library/18632f8f-5c92-4330-95d0-ef25240b44d6" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a></p><p><br></p>
