Harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) - ECOICOP ver.2 - indices and rates of change at constant tax rates, monthly data

<p>The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices at constant tax rates (HICP-CT) is a variant of the HICP that measures inflation without the impact of changes in taxes on products.&nbsp;This dataset is compiled according to the European Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (ECOICOP, ver. 2), available in base years 2025=100 and 2015=100.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>This dataset includes three&nbsp;monthly indicators:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>the index; measuring the changes in relation to the tax rates from the previous year’s December, kept constant</li><li>the annual rate of change, representing the percentage change in a reference month compared to the same month of the previous year</li><li>the monthly rate of change, representing the percentage change in a reference month compared to the previous month.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Both rates are calculated from the monthly HICP-CT indices.&nbsp;</p><p>This dataset also includes the ‘Monthly rate differences between the HICP and the HICP at constant taxes’ indicator.</p>
