Employees entitled or not to unemployment and/or sickness benefits by age, sex and type of contract
<p>Ths indicator measures the share of employees aged 16 to 64 who are entitled to unemployment and/or sickness benefits in case of need. Employees means persons who work for a public or private employer based on a written or oral contract and who receive a payment in cash or in kind. Entitlement to benefits refers to whether the respondents believe they are formally and effectively covered by the social protection scheme. 'Unknown' applies to respondents who answer that they are not aware of whether they are entitled to benefits or not. The results are broken down by age, sex and type of contract (temporary or permanent). </p>
