International supply of services by modes, type of product (EBOPS 2010) and partner country
<p>Statistics on the international supply of services (ISS) by modes of supply (MoS) record the value of services supplied between residents of the reporting economy and non-residents, showing how and through which mode of supply these services are delivered, in line with the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS). They cover exports and imports of detailed service categories by partner economy and mode of supply.</p><p>Under GATS, trade in services is defined through four modes of supply: cross-border supply (mode 1), consumption abroad (mode 2), commercial presence (mode 3) and the presence of natural persons (mode 4).</p><p>The product breakdown follows the Extended Balance of Payments Services Classification 2010 (EBOPS 2010), as defined in the Manual on Statistics of International Trade in Services 2010 (MSITS 2010) and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1197. </p><p>Data collection generally follows Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 and the related implementing provisions. </p>
