Organic farming by age, sex and training of farm manager and NUTS 2 region

<p>Number of holdings and hectares by type of production (organic farming, non-organic farming and both) and by age, sex and training of farm manager. A holding is considered organic when total UAA (excluding kitchen gardens) is organic or when total livestock heads are organic. In case a holding has both organic and non-organic UAA (excluding kitchen gardens) or livestock heads, then it is categorised as organic and non-organic. Information is based on censuses and sample surveys.</p>
