EU direct investment flows, by country and economic activity (BPM6)

<p>Foreign direct investment (FDI) flows record cross-border transactions reflecting lasting interest and control between a direct investor and an enterprise, compiled under the sixth edition of the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual (BPM6). Flows are shown as assets, liabilities and net FDI, distinguishing direct investment abroad and in the reporting economy, and detailed by NACE Rev. 2 activity, partner country and type of FDI instrument, including transactions between fellow enterprises and special purpose entities.</p>
